About us

The Psychology Clinic is the training facility for the clinical psychology Ph.D. program at Wayne State University, servicing students and staff as well as residents of the greater Detroit metropolitan area. Psychological assessments and treatments are provided on a sliding scale fee basis for services.

Purpose

  • To provide first-rate and affordable psychological services, especially psychological assessment and psychotherapy.
  • To train Ph.D. students in the most advanced psychological techniques.
  • To conduct research on the origins, assessment and treatment of psychological problems.

Monday, Wednesday: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Tuesday, Thursday: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Friday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Closed during university breaks and holidays.

The clinic is not equipped for emergency treatment. In case of an emergency, please call the Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network (DWIHN) 24-hour crisis hotline at 313-224-7000 or go to the nearest hospital emergency department.
